Santa Monica Studios under the Sony Interactive Entertainment umbrella finally announced the next installment in the popular God of War series. The Reveal trailer showed incredible graphics on the PS4 giving the likes of Uncharted 4 a run for its money. In this new Installment it is revealed that Kratos is now introduced to the world of Norse Mythology and the combat seems to be inspired by Dark souls with a shade of the Last of Us thrown in for good measure. In any case it was surely a surprise to E3 attendees even though it had been rumored for months now that a new God of War title was in the works and so here we are with the first look at God of War which will surely have many a PS4 gamer awaiting its launch with eagerness. Take a look at the trailer and some screenshots as well as the logo revealed in the press kit although it’s probably not final since we don’t see it being accompanied by any number so it perhaps could be a reboot of sorts or as already revealed,A Re-imagining of Kratos in the realm of Norse Mythology.
No release date has been given but its safe to say it wont be arriving this year, probably sometime in 2017 exclusively for the PlayStation 4 console.
